RETURNS, REFUNDS & cancellations
PHOTOSHOOT EXPERIENCES & GIFT VOUCHERS
Photoshoot experiences and gift vouchers are non-refundable once purchased, except where a refund or cancellation right is required by law.

Our photoshoot experiences and gift vouchers remain available for use for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
​
If you no longer wish to use your photoshoot experience or gift voucher, it may be transferred to a friend or family member to use during the original validity period.
​
Choosing not to book or attend your photoshoot does not automatically entitle you to a refund of the photoshoot experience or gift voucher.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

£20 REFUNDABLE BOOKING DEPOSIT
A £20 refundable booking deposit is required to secure a photoshoot appointment.
This deposit is separate from the purchase price or value of your photoshoot experience or gift voucher. It cannot be deducted from the value of your voucher or experience.
​
The £20 deposit is paid when arranging your appointment and reserves that date and time specifically for you.
​
Provided you attend your appointment at the agreed date and time and comply with our cancellation and rescheduling terms, your £20 booking deposit will be refunded following your photoshoot.
​
​
CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must provide at least 48 hours' notice.
​
Where at least 48 hours' notice is provided, your existing £20 booking deposit can be transferred to your rearranged appointment.
​
If you:
• fail to attend your appointment;
• cancel with less than 48 hours' notice; or
• request to reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice,
your £20 booking deposit will be forfeited.
​
If you subsequently wish to make another appointment, a new £20 refundable booking deposit will be required to secure the new date.
​
Losing your booking deposit does not automatically invalidate your photoshoot experience or gift voucher.
Your original experience or voucher will remain available for use during its original validity period, subject to these terms.

PHOTOGRAPHY & IMAGE ORDERS
Photography is a creative service and individual preferences regarding images and photographic style can be subjective.
​
Where the photography service has been provided as agreed, we do not normally provide refunds solely because a customer subsequently decides that the photographic style or particular images are not to their personal taste.
​
This does not affect any rights you may have where services have not been provided with reasonable care and skill or any other statutory rights.
​
​
PHYSICAL PRODUCTS
If you receive a physical product that is damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
​
Any additional contractual returns offered by The Studio North East are in addition to, and do not replace, your statutory consumer rights.
​
​
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Our £20 booking deposit exists to reserve studio and staff time specifically for your appointment and to help protect the business against late cancellations and non-attendance.
​
Payment of a photoshoot experience or gift voucher does not remove the requirement to pay the separate £20 refundable booking deposit when securing an appointment where this requirement is stated as part of the booking terms.
​
These terms do not exclude or restrict any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
